Introduction and acceptance

ATS Resume Optimization (atsresumeoptimization.com) is an ATS readiness checker for resumes, operated by an individual. By using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

What the service is

The free check parses your file inside your browser, runs a set of deterministic layout and content checks, and shows you a score from 0 to 100 plus the reasons behind it.

Our score is our own model. It is not produced by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any applicant tracking system vendor. No ATS publishes its scoring rules, and we do not claim to reproduce them. Two resumes can score the same here and get very different outcomes in reality.

Nothing in this service is career, legal or immigration advice, and we make no promise that using it will get you an interview, an offer, or any particular result.

Your content and your rights

Your resume belongs to you. Because the free check runs on your device, we do not receive, store, copy or review your resume or its contents.

You keep ownership of everything you write. We claim no rights in your text, and we grant none to ourselves by displaying it.

By uploading a file you confirm that it is your own resume, or that you have the owner's permission to process it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to process someone else's personal data without their consent.
• Attempt to bypass, disable or interfere with the service's protections or performance, including scripted bulk use of a tool that is offered free for individual job seekers.
• Reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute our scoring rules or checker implementation as a competing product feed.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to generate material that misrepresents another person's experience as your own.

Accounts, credits and payment

The free check requires no account. Where an account or paid credits exist, you are responsible for the security of your sign-in, and the price, credit balance and refund terms shown at the moment of purchase apply. We will not change the terms of a purchase you already made.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in our separate Privacy Policy. In short: the free tool has no server-side resume storage, and we currently run no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.

Availability, changes and termination

The service is provided free, "as is" and "as available". We may change or withdraw features, and we may suspend access from an address that abuses the service. Because the check costs us nothing to run per user, we do not plan to limit honest use. We do not currently enforce usage limits on the free check. Paid AI features, when they arrive, will carry usage limits shown at the moment of purchase.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its scores predict hiring outcomes.

Limitation of liability

The service is free to use, and to the fullest extent permitted by law the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or reputational damages, or for lost opportunities, lost applications or employment outcomes arising from your use of or inability to use it. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that does not allow this limitation, it applies only to the extent the law permits.

Disputes

If something went wrong for you, email support@atsresumeoptimization.com first. We will respond and try to fix it informally. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot be waived or excluded under the consumer law of your country or state.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator resides. That place, and the operator's identity for legal notice, will be stated on this page when a business entity is registered; until then, contact us by email and we will provide it on request.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when the new version is posted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
